How to enable after-midnight booking in the booking engine in Mews Operations

After-midnight booking lets you accept reservations that start shortly after midnight and end later the same morning. You use this feature as a property employee to capture late-night demand, reduce manual corrections, and ensure accurate stay calculations. You set this up in the Booking engine configuration in Mews Operations when your property accepts bookings after midnight.

 

When you activate this setting guests can book a stay that starts shortly after midnight and ends later the same day.

 

Note: Use this setting only if your property accepts same-night stays after midnight. If not, keep the setting deactivated to avoid incorrect booking options for guests.

 

How to enable after-midnight booking

To enable after-midnight booking in your booking engine:

1. Go to main menu  > Settings > Services.

2. Click your bookable service you want to edit. For example, Stay.

3. Click Booking engines.

4. Click the booking engine you want to configure.

5. Scroll down to locate the After-midnight booking setting.

6. Click the drop-down to select Activated.

7. Click Save.

 

This enables after-midnight booking in the booking engine in Mews Operations.
