You enable or disable a menu in Mews POS to control whether staff can use it when taking orders in the Mews POS app. As a staff member managing service operations, you enable menus when they are ready to use and disable them when they are no longer relevant. You can also configure Menus with availability by time and day. This means that even enabled menus only appear to staff when they are scheduled to be available, helping ensure the right menu is being used at the right time. You manage this in the Mews POS web dashboard after creating a menu.

- Only enabled menus appear to wait staff in the Mews POS app.
- You must assign a menu to at least one outlet before you can enable it.
To enable or disable a menu in Mews POS:
- In the Mews POS web dashboard, click Menus.
- Find the menu you want to enable or disable.
- Click the Status slider to change the menu's availability:
- When the slider is active, the menu is available in the Mews POS app based on its availability settings.
- When the slider is inactive, the menu is hidden from the app.
This enables or disables the menu in Mews POS.
