How to generate Swedish cash register reports in Mews POS

The Swedish Cash Register Report is a compliance document which the Swedish Tax Agency requires. Front office managers or finance staff generate this report in Mews POS to review and export daily transaction summaries for cash registers. They usually complete this task to comply with local tax legislation. They typically generate this report daily or on demand, directly in Mews POS.

Step 1: Set up the Swedish cash register integration in Mews POS

Before you can generate Swedish cash register reports, you need to set up the integration.

 

Step 2: Generate Swedish cash register reports in Mews POS
  1. In Mews POS, go to the main menu Menu arrow right  > Settings > Integrations.
  2. Under Registers, find the cash register you want to generate a report for.
  3. Click More_24 , click to select the type of report you want to download.

Generate X and Z reports in Mews POS

X reports are available for the current day only. Z reports are available for past days only and include a serial number and timestamp. Mews stores the data automatically at midnight and uses it to generate the Z report. Each Z Report uses static data saved during the nightly processing. You cannot regenerate the same Z Report with different data.

  1. Click Download as PDF.
  2. In the new window, enter your email address.
  3. Click Send me as email.

This generates the X and Z reports for the Swedish cash register integration in Mews POS. You cannot regenerate a Z report but you can download it again through the Audit log.

Generate e-Journal report in Mews POS

You can use the e-Journal report to export a list of all cash register events for a selected period. The report includes the following event types: Sales, Refunds, Copies, Proformas, Z report, X report and Status Code Response.

  1. Click Download XML.
  2. In the new window, select the date rage you want to view. Note: You can only view a maximum of 7 days.
  3. Enter your email address.
  4. Click Send me as email.

This generates the e-Journal report for the Swedish cash register integration in Mews POS.
