How to keep channel-specific prices and availability requirements accurate in Mews RMS

Filtering the Pricing screen

You can filter the Pricing screen by connected channel to view the price combinations and space categories that distribute to that channel.

Pricing views:

  • Use Weekly view to review channel-specific prices and relevant space categories across one week. In the weekly view, all space categories show automatically; you can still filter by service, channel, and rate.
  • Use List view to hide space categories that are not relevant to your selected channels.
  • Use Monthly view to select a combination of service, rate, space category, and channel, showing one price or space category at a time. This is useful for getting a price overview across all space categories for a week. Note: The weekly view only shows space categories mapped to the selected channel.

To filter the Pricing screen by channel:

1. In Mews RMS, go to the main menu mainmenuRevenue management > Pricing screen.

2. If you select the Monthly view, click Weekly view to review channel-specific prices and relevant space categories across one week.

3. Click the Channels filter.

4. Select a connected channel, such as Airbnb or Booking.com.

You now view the price combinations and space categories that distribute to the selected channel.

Note: Selecting a channel automatically disables price combinations and space categories that do not map to that channel. In Weekly view and List view, Mews RMS hides space categories that are not relevant to your selected channels.

Viewing channel mapping statuses

You can identify the channels connected to a rate or space category by using the channel mapping indicators on the Pricing screen. These indicators appear next to rates and space categories across the available pricing views.

To view channel mapping details:

1. Locate a rate or space category on the Pricing screen.

2. Find the channel mapping indicator next to the rate or space category name.

3. Click the channel mapping indicator to view the connected channels.

You now see the connected channels for the selected rate or space category.

Viewing and creating restrictions

You can view existing restrictions and create new restrictions from the Pricing screen. This means you can apply availability requirements to relevant price combinations and space categories without going to service settings.

To view a restriction:

1. Find the restriction icon for a date, price combination, or space category in the calendar or List view.

2. Click the restriction icon to view the restriction details. The details include the restriction type, affected dates, and exceptions, such as a minimum length of stay.

3. Click the restriction title to open the edit form and update the restriction.

You now view the selected restriction and open it for editing.

To create a restriction:

1. Click + Restriction on the Pricing screen.

2. Configure the restriction settings.

3. Select the applicable rates in the Distributed rate section.

4. Select the applicable spaces in the Distributed space section.

5. Preview the restriction to check the banner that shows the connected channels affected by the update.

6. Click Save.

You now create a restriction for the selected dates and price combinations.

Note: If a price combination distributes to multiple channels, a restriction for one channel also applies to all grouped channels.

You can now review channel-specific prices, check channel mappings, and apply restrictions that keep your connected channels accurate.
