How to modify a central product in Mews Multi-Property

In Mews Multi-Property, you can manage central products from a single portfolio-level view, making it easier to keep product details consistent across multiple properties. If you need to modify a product, for example, pricing, availability, or accounting details, you can do it once, centrally. You can also edit pricing details for all your selected properties in bulk to minimize manual updates for each individual property. You can view and manage products via the Products screen of Mews Multi-Property, where you can also create and assign products to specific properties.

 

To modify central products in Mews Multi-Property:

1. In your portfolio account, go to the main menu  > Products > Central products tab.
2. Click the product you want to modify.
3. In the side-window:
   • Click the Details tab, then click to modify general details, for example, internal name, short name, external name, description, ordering, product image or external identifier.
   • Click the Properties tab to modify pricing in bulk:
     1. Check the box for each property you want to modify then click Update pricing.
     2. In the Update pricing in bulk screen, modify the following details:
        • Tax rate: Enter a new tax rate for the central product in all selected properties.
        • Net: Enter a new base price including tax for each selected property. Note: When you enter a Net price, Mews automatically updates the Gross price by taking your configured Tax rate into account.
        • Gross: Enter a new base price excluding tax for each selected property. Note: When you enter a Gross price, Mews automatically updates the Net price by taking your configured Tax rate into account.

1. 1. 3. Click Update. Note: Price changes only apply to future reservations.

1. • Click the Properties tab, then click Add to property to assign the central product to a new property.
2. Click Save.

 

This modifies the central product details in Mews Multi-Property.
