Mewsic is a playlist widget in Mews University that shows you courses relevant to your role. Instead of browsing a full course catalogue, you select your role and get a curated list of learning content. Mewsic is available to all Mews University users.

How to use Mewsic in Mews University

Picking your role

When you open Mewsic for the first time, select your role from the grid. Mewsic shows you playlists based on your selection and saves your choice automatically.

To change your role:

1. Click your role name in the top right corner of the widget.
2. Select a new role from the dropdown.

 

Starting a course

1. Find the course you want in your playlist.
2. Click the pink play button. The course opens directly in Mews University.

 

Saving a course

Click the heart icon next to any course to save it. All saved courses appear in the Saved tab at the top of the widget.

Sharing a course or playlist

To share a single course:

1. Click the share icon on the right of the course row. The link is copied to your clipboard.

 

To share a full playlist:

1. Scroll to the bottom of the playlist.
2. Click Share playlist. The link is copied to your clipboard.

Switching language

1. Click the language button in the top right corner of the widget. The button shows your current language.
2. Select from English, German, French, Spanish, or Dutch. Course links switch to the translated version where one is available.

Rating a playlist

At the bottom of each playlist, click the number of stars that reflects your experience. Your rating is sent to the Mews University team to help improve the content.

Troubleshooting

I cannot see all the playlists

Mewsic only shows playlists relevant to your selected role. To see other playlists, change your role using the dropdown in the top right corner of the widget.

 

My saved courses have disappeared

Saved courses are stored in your browser. If you clear your browser data or switch to a different device, your saved courses do not appear. In Mews University, saved courses are linked to your account.
