The Onboarding dashboard is a feature of Mews Operations available to all properties to assist them in setting up Mews. The dashboard guides hoteliers on what to do to set up their property successfully, highlights common setup issues, missing requirements, and ways to resolve them. Onboarding Managers use the same set of checks and recommendations to conduct an onboarding audit of the main configuration of Mews Onboarding once it is complete.
The tasks outlined on the Onboarding dashboard are in the most optimum order to help you complete the system setup. The onboarding team highly recommends you to complete them in the displayed order.
- If the onboarding audit is successful, it results in a GO, meaning that your onboarding journey continues as scheduled.
- If the onboarding audit is not successful, it results in a NO GO, meaning that you still have a few items to review, and therefore cannot run your business on Mews yet or enable distribution integrations such as Booking Engine or channel managers.

Where can I access the Onboarding dashboard?
To access the dashboard, in Mews Operations:
- Go to the main menu
> Settings > Property > Onboarding dashboard, or
- Search for the dashboard in the Mews search bar.
When does the Mews Onboarding Team conduct an onboarding audit?
For Standard and Premium packages, a Mews Onboarding Manager conducts the audit during the onboarding process prior to the Go Live date. You agree to the Go Live date on the partnership kick-off call and maintain communication with your designated manager via email.
For the Digital Onboarding Package, you must request the official onboarding audit by the Digital Onboarding team, directly via the onboarding dashboard. You can only request an audit once none of the mandatory tasks have a “Fail” status. If you have any difficulties, you can contact the onboarding team for assistance at any time.
It takes up to 3 business days for the team to complete the audit, Mews recommends considering this timeline in relation to your go-live date.
What do I need to complete for a successful onboarding audit?
To ensure the property passes the onboarding audit, properties must complete the following:
- Mews University assigned courses for each user
- Mews platform configuration
- Channel Manager testing scheduled for Go live day
- KYB
- Settle any pending Mews subscription invoices
What happens if the onboarding audit is not successful?
If the property does not pass the system check:
- Standard and Premium Packages:
- Mews reschedules the Go Live date for a minimum of two weeks. This is to allow both, the property and the Mews Onboarding team, to finalize training and configuration
- Mews schedules a new onboarding audit and Go vs. No Go call seven days prior to the new Go Live date.
- Digital Onboarding package:
- The property needs to resolve all the missing points.
- The property requests a new onboarding audit via the Onboarding dashboard.
What do the different statuses mean in the onboarding dashboard?
The system groups the checks by specific areas with a count of the number of completed tasks. Each of the checks has a current status:
- Pass: The onboarding audit is a pass with no further action.
- Fail: Mews identifies some issues that require resolution before the property can go live.
- Review: Mews identifies that there may be an unusual setup, some issues, or areas of improvement and tags this task for a human to review. Note: Some checks that display the Review status might not be relevant to your property, and you do not need to complete them. If you are unsure if a check applies to your property, contact your Onboarding Manager.
- Pending: This section is not yet complete.
Note: You can learn more about how to use the onboarding dashboard by contacting the Mews Onboarding team.
How do I set up the go-live date?
You can set up or edit your go-live date directly in the Onboarding Dashboard. To do so, in Mews Operations, go to the main menu > Settings > Property > Onboarding dashboard > Timeline >
.
It is important that you validate and update your go-live date if you experience any delays or unforeseen events. The Mews onboarding team uses this date to allocate appropriate time and resources to your property. When updating your go-live date, you cannot select a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
