Why are guests receiving emails that are not set up in the Mail templates?

The emails that you have enabled in your property's Visit options (Main menu > Settings > Services > Stay) are sent to your guests even if you haven't set a customized email template for them: Mews sends a default version of the emails you have enabled.

 

This is a list of the emails you can enable in the Visit options section without the need of creating a template:

 

  • After check-out email.
  • After check-in email.
  • Confirmation email.
  • Online check-in email.
