How to add minibar, amenities and linen consumption in Flexkeeping

Minibar, amenities and linen consumption in Flexkeeping is the record of the items that guests use in a room. Housekeeping staff record consumption to keep an accurate account of what guests use in each room. Add consumption when you check a room and find that a guest used items. Select No consumption when you check a room and find that nothing was used. Amend an entry when you make a mistake. You add consumption in the Minibar, Amenities and Linen modules of the Flexkeeping mobile app, and in the Rooms screen of the Flexkeeping web app.

How to add consumption in the Flexkeeping mobile app

In the Flexkeeping mobile app, you add minibar, amenities or linen consumption to a room.

  1. In the Flexkeeping mobile app, go to Rooms, select the sector, and then select the room. Space Detail opens.

  2. In Space Detail, select the module you want to add consumption to: Minibar, Amenities or Linen.

  3. Click the plus icon. A pop-up window opens with two options: Consumption entry and No consumption.

  4. Click the Consumption entry icon. A list of items appears.

  5. Select the product that the guest consumed.

  6. Select the quantity consumed.

  7. Click Confirm to save the consumption data. The Consumption entry icon changes colour to dark blue.

 

How to confirm that nothing was consumed in the Flexkeeping mobile app

In the Flexkeeping mobile app, No consumption confirms that you checked whether items, such as the minibar items, were consumed and that nothing was used.

  1. In the Flexkeeping mobile app, go to Rooms, select the sector, and then select the room. Space Detail opens.

  2. In Space Detail, select the module you checked: Minibar, Amenities or Linen.

  3. Click the plus icon.

  4. Click No consumption. The No consumption icon is outlined with bold borders.

 

How to amend consumption in the Flexkeeping mobile app

If you make a mistake when you add consumption in the Flexkeeping mobile app, you can amend the entry.

  1. In the Flexkeeping mobile app, go to Rooms, select the sector, and then select the room. Space Detail opens.

  2. In Space Detail, select the module that contains the entry: Minibar, Amenities or Linen.

  3. Click the line that displays the time and price of the consumption entry. The list of added items appears with the Edit button.

  4. Click Edit.

  5. Enter the new quantity.

  6. Click Confirm to save the changes.

In the Flexkeeping web app, you add and amend minibar, amenities and linen consumption for a room from the Rooms screen.

How to add consumption in the Flexkeeping web app

In the Flexkeeping web app, you add minibar, amenities or linen consumption to a room from the Rooms screen.

  1. In the Flexkeeping web app, go to the main menu Main menu icon , click Rooms.

  2. In the Overview section, find the room tile.

  3. On the room tile, click the icon of the module you want to add consumption to: the minibar icon, the amenities icon or the linen icon. A side-window opens.

  4. Click Add.

  5. Select the products.

  6. Enter the quantity for each product.

  7. Click Save to confirm.

 

How to amend consumption in the Flexkeeping web app

If you make a mistake when you add consumption in the Flexkeeping web app, you can amend the entry from the Rooms screen.

  1. In the Flexkeeping web app, go to the main menu Main menu icon , click Rooms.

  2. In the Overview section, find the room tile.

  3. On the room tile, click the icon of the module that contains the entry: the minibar icon, the amenities icon or the linen icon. A side-window opens.

  4. Click the Edit button.

  5. Change the products or quantities.

  6. Click Save to apply the changes.
