Cancel city tax as a stay product

If you are currently using a product rule to add city tax as a stay product to incoming reservations, and you want to use the fixed city tax feature, you need to update the product rule before you can do so. You can learn more about how to set up city tax here.

In this article, you can learn how to update the product rule to use the fixed city tax feature.

 

Update the product rule

  1. Go to the main menu Screenshot_2.png > Settings > Services.
  2. Click on your bookable service.
  3. Click Product rules.
  4. Click on the product rule you use to add city tax to incoming reservations.
  5. Under Action, select Cancel.
  6. Click Save.

Note: To update future reservations with city tax applied with the product rule contact Mews Support to cancel the city tax product from the reservations. This is only applicable for city tax added via product rule.

After you update your product rule to cancel the city tax on reservations, you can use the fixed city tax feature.
