Mews sends an automated email when an event, such as a payment card failure, occurs. You don't need to enable automated emails. However, Mews doesn't send the automated email if it is disabled.
Mews sends a manual email only when someone at your property manually chooses to send it. You don't need to enable manual emails. Instead, you can choose whether you want Mews to send them by default.
If Mews sends a manual email by default, this means you pre-selected the option to send it. Mews cannot send a manual email automatically, and an employee can always deselect the option to send the email.
