Change the photo in the Mews Booking Engine for chains

If your Mews Booking Engine is set up in chain mode, the background image is automatically set up to display a generic photo from our database of the city your property is located. 

 

How can I request a different background photo of the city? 

The photo for each city can be changed by creating a request with the Support team. Open a support ticket through the Mews Digital Assistant in Mews Operations. Keep in mind that this change affects all Mews clients using Mews Chain Booking Engine for that city and that the picture can be used for commercial and other purposes.

 

How can set my own background image? 

 

You can upload a video in the Booking Engine configuration by following these steps:

 

  1. Navigate to Main Menu > Settings > Services.
  2. Bookable Services > Choose respective service (e.g. Stay) > Booking Engines.
  3. Find the video (URL) field.
  4. Add you video URL> the file must be saved in .mp4 format.
  5. Click Save.

 

For example, you can upload a video stored in your MailChimp account, or a short gif created in Canva.
