How do accounting categories affect the revenue in the Manager report?

In Mews, there are three places where you can set up the accounting category for night revenue: in the rate, in the space category, and in the service.

 

When you apply the filter Group by - Accounting category in the Manager report, there's a stablished hierarchy when defining which accounting category applies. The order is as follows:

 

 

1. Rate: if there is an accounting category assigned to rate, it overrides the accounting category of the space category and the service.

 

2. Space category: if the rate has no accounting category assigned (the field is empty) then the accounting category of the space category is assigned, and the service accounting category is overridden.

 

3. Service: if there is no accounting category assigned in the rate or the space category, the system applies the accounting category of the service.
