How to change the cleaning period or interval?

In Mews, the housekeeping interval for cleaning is set to one day, meaning that every night rooms turn from status "inspected" to "dirty". 

 

To change the housekeeping interval for all space categories, follow these steps:

 

1. Go to Main menu > Settings > Services > Bookable services
2. Choose respective service (e.g. Stay).
3. Under General Settings, change the Housekeeping interval.
4. After that period of time, the spaces change to "dirty" or "clean" status depending on your set up on the Visit options (on the same screen under the Options section).

 

To change the housekeeping interval for specific space categories, follow these steps:

 

1. Go to Main menu > Settings > Services > Bookable services.
2. Choose respective service (e.g. Stay) > Space categories.
3. Click on the space category you need to change.
4. Go to Housekeeping interval and update it.

 

Note: changing the housekeeping interval for specific reservation is not currently available.

Note: if you never want to clean rooms during a guest stay, then set the cleaning interval to a high number (for example, 100), so that the room only turns to dirty upon departure.
