Key card is not functioning

If you get the error message "This key cannot be used because it's damaged. We recommend trying again with a new key." when creating a key, it's because the key card is damaged, inserted incorrectly, or not the right type of card, so your key encoder is not able to encode new information.

 

Try to create the key again with a new key card, or make sure that the key card is inserted properly into the encoder device.
