You can customize the header and footer content displayed on all your bills, invoices, and proforma invoices with HTML. If you are a beginner, you can start with an HTML sample here and replace the details with your property's information or you can learn about the basics of HTML here.
In this article, you can learn how to:
Configure your bill
To configure your bill:
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Settings > Property > Finance.
- From the Finance drop-down, click Accounting configuration.
Add your bill header content
You can add a header to the bill to display your property’s details, such as the address or VAT identification number information.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page to the Bill header field. Enter your custom HTML or use the following sample:
- <p><strong>Your Property Name</strong> <br />Address: 123 Street, City, DC 12345 <br />Contact Number: +1 555-0123 <br />VAT Number: XX1234567890</p>
- To add more information to your invoice header, enter an Additional tax identifier, the Company name, bank Account number, Bank name, Iban, or BIC in the individual fields as shown below.
- The system displays the information in the individual fields only in the invoice header. Ensure not to enter the same information in the Bill header and individual fields to avoid duplication in invoice headers.
- In France, this information appears in bills, bill previews, invoices, and proformas.
- Click Save.
Add your bill footer content
In the bill footer, you can include marketing material, such as upcoming deals or promotional codes.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page to the Bill footer field. Enter your custom HTML or use the following sample:
- <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>We hope you had a pleasant stay with us!</strong> <br/>The entire team looks forward to welcoming you back to this property.</p>
- Click Save.
Update or remove the bill header or footer content
You can update your bill header or footer content at any time by editing or deleting the text added in the Bill header and Bill footer fields. You can display your property’s details, such as the address, or include marketing material, such as upcoming deals or promotional codes. Click Save to save the changes.
