Mews Terminal's payment function isn't working properly

If your Mews Terminal prints out a "Failed payment" receipt, it may mean that the guest is trying to pay with a card type not accepted by your property.

Note: If a guest profile has more than 400 payments, the Mews Terminal displays a Something went wrong error. To fix this:

  1. Go to the customer profile.

  2. Select the Internals tab.

  3. Under Classification, select Paymaster account.

This removes the limitation on the number of payments.

  • Contactless payments aren't working
  • Payments are declined
  • Cards are declined
