Using the Settings menu to configure events in Mews Events

You can configure and use the Settings menu in Mews Events to customize key configurations for a consistent and efficient event management experience. By customizing Branding, Legal information, User roles, Event plans, as well as defining cancellation policies and billing details in your Quote template, you can tailor Mews Events to your specific business needs.  

You can set up reminders, create customized Event plans for seamless synchronization between Mews Operations and Mews Events to optimize your workflow and enhance customer interactions, and improve collaboration with customers and partners.

To access Settings, in Mews Events, go to the main menu  > Settings.

Using the Settings menu, you can configure the following aspects of Mews Events: 

• Branding: Customize your booking engine with visual elements. You can modify logos, fonts, colors, icons and images. 
• Legal Information: Customize terms and conditions and cancellation policies for your quotes. 
• Quote template: Customize your quotes and invoices with your branding, content, and default settings. You can configure the following: 
  • Commercial presentation: Customize the design and layout of your services and offers to make your quotes visually appealing and on-brand for customers.
  • Header: Add your property address and tax information. 
  • Billing: Set up billing-related details. 
  • Cancellation policies: Add cancellation policies. 
  • Payment: Set up payment options. 
  • Signature: Add or edit your signature image. 
  • Quote venue finders: Add or select the venue.  
  • Information contact email: Customize contact person details or use the information from quote. 
• Reminders: Manage customer reminders for upcoming activities or bookings. 
• Users: Add and remove Mews Events users and collaborators, including role assignment.
• Event plans: Creating an event plan allows for synchronizing segments between Mews Operations (PMS) and Mews Events (EMS) ensures a consistent approach to pricing and segmentation.
