How to delete space categories if they have current or future reservations?

To delete a space category, it can't have any future reservations assigned to it. This counts both requested category and assigned category.

 

To find and update all future reservations assigned to a space category, follow these steps:

 

  1. Run the Reservation report with the following filters:
    • View: Detailed.
    • For: Arrivals.
    • Date: Choose a period that includes all current and future reservations.
    • Requested category: The category you want to delete.
  1. Move each reservation to a different category:
    1. Navigate to the Properties tab of reservation you need to move.

    2. Go to the Assigned category section and select the new category.

    3. Tick the Update requested category box.
    4. Click Ok.

 

Once all the reservations are reassigned to a different category, you can proceed to delete the space category following the instructions here
