How to import existing vouchers in Mews Gift Voucher

Importing existing vouchers means transferring active vouchers from an external system into Mews Gift Voucher. You do this when switching from a third-party or manual voucher system and when you want to keep previously issued vouchers valid for guests. This action takes place in the back office of Mews Gift Voucher and requires coordination with a Mews representative, who completes the actual import.

 

To prepare an import of existing vouchers:

1. In Mews Gift Voucher, go to Design & Create > Imports.
2. Click Get import sheet to download the voucher import template.
3. Fill in the required fields in the spreadsheet.
• Include details such as voucher codes, values, expiry dates, and delivery emails.
• Make sure all data is accurate and matches the voucher records.
4. Save the file in CSV format.
5. Send the completed file to your Mews contact or partner representative for import.

 

Once the import is complete, you can view the vouchers in the Orders screen and redeem them as needed.
