Mews automatically groups together connected reservations and assigns a “group name” for easy reference. Groups help properties manage reservations with many guests, for example, when hosting large events or conferences. Once you create a first reservation in Mews Operations, you can change the name of its group to find the reservations in that group quickly.
You can also manually merge groups to add reservations from one group to another.
Note: Mews assigns a group name to every reservation, even individual, ungrouped reservations.
To modify the name of a group:
- In Mews Operations, in the search bar, type in the group name.
- Click on the appropriate reservation and then click on the Group tab.
- Under Group name, enter the new name.
- Click Change name.
