The Hostel Hop channel manager integration provides global distribution of your properties' rates and availability directly from Mews Operations. You can set up this integration in Mews Operations and update rates, availability, and restrictions in Hostel Hop, to receive reservations in Mews Operations. This channel manager is a two-way connection, meaning that Mews Operations manages availability, rates, and restrictions, while Hostel Hop pushes reservations into Mews Operations.

 

Note:

• If you're already live with Mews, Mews does not configure the integrations for you. If you have any problems fixing the mapping errors within Mews, contact the Mews Support Team using the Mews Digital Assistant to help you troubleshoot. 
• Make sure you have a contract with Hostel Hop before connecting this integration.
• You can synchronize the following two rates only in the Hostel Hop integration in Mews Operations:
  • FF and NR
• The Hostel Hop integration does not support closed to arrival/departure restrictions.

Step 1: Connect and configure the Hostel Hop integration

To connect and configure the Hostel Hop integration, complete steps 1 – 3 in the article here.

 

Note: You can synchronize two rates only in the Hostel Hop integration in Mews Operations. The rates must have the mapping code FF and NR only.

 

Map companies and travel agency contracts (optional)

This step is optional. You should complete this only if you want to assign reservations received from the channel manager to a company in Mews Operations.

Step 2: Send mapping information to Hostel Hop

To send mapping information to Hostel Hop, follow the below steps:

1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu  > Marketplace > My subscriptions.
2. Locate the Hostel Hop integration. Then click Edit to go to the settings.
3. Click  Download at the screens' top right corner. The mapping file downloads to your machine.
4. Send the file to Hostel Hop: [email protected]

Hostel Hop instructs you on how to complete the mapping in Hostel Hop extranet. Once complete, proceed to the next step.

 

Step 3: Test the integration

Testing the integration allows you to check whether you configured the integration correctly. You can test this with a small set of reservations for the next 7 days.
