Receive reservations using the RNTX channel manager for Mews Operations

The RNTX channel integration provides global distribution of your properties' rates and availability, direct from Mews Operations. You can add and set up this integration via your Mews Marketplace, as well as enable the sync of your property’s rate, availability, and restrictions to RNTX. This OTA integration has a two-way connection, meaning that Mews Operations manages availability, rates, and restrictions, while RNTX pushes reservations into Mews Operations.

  • Make sure you have a contract with RNTX before you connect this integration.

How to receive reservations through the RNTX integration

Step 1: Connect and configure the RNTX integration

To connect and configure the RNTX integration, complete steps 1–3 in Connect your channel manager.

Note: Space category code must contain only numeric values. Rate code supports only the following values: “public_rate” and “CHM_rate”.

Map companies and travel agency contracts (optional)

This step is optional. Complete it only if you want to assign reservations received from the channel manager to a company in Mews Operations.

For each travel agency profile you want to map, complete the steps in How to set up travel agencies.

Map channel manager age categories (optional)

This step is optional. Complete it only if you want reservations from the channel manager to include age category information.

To receive reservations with age categories through your channel manager and correctly allocate each guest to the respective age category, you need to map them in the channel manager age category mapping.

To map channel manager age categories, follow the steps in Configuring channel manager settings to receive reservations with age categories.

Step 2: Test the integration

Testing the integration allows you to check whether you configured the integration correctly. You can test this with a small set of reservations for the next 7 days.

To test the integration, complete step 4 in Connect your channel manager.

Step 3: Enable the integration

To enable the integration, complete step 5 in Connect your channel manager.

This completes the connection and configuration of the RNTX integration from the Mews Marketplace. RNTX provides real-time updates of your properties' rates and availability across multiple channels. This means you can now start receiving reservations in Mews Operations from the RNTX integration.
