Resolving incorrect payment and cancellation policies display in Mews Operations

In Mews, policy exceptions allow you to change and customize your payment and cancellation policies for specific dates. Active policy exceptions can cause certain integrations using an outdated version of Connector API to display incorrect default policies instead of the custom ones you have set up.  As a result, guests may not see the accurate terms which can lead to confusion or disputes.

Note: This issue primarily affects public integrations, such as Cendyn and likeMagic but may also impact other private integrations using an outdated Connector API version.

To resolve incorrect cancellation and payment policy display when using policy exceptions:

  1. Contact your integration partner’s customer success manager and request that they update the integration to the latest version of Connector API. Note: Mews has contacted integration providers to request this update, but your additional outreach can help prioritize the fix.
