How to modify or delete a cancellation policy in Mews Operations

Cancellation policies determine how the system handles canceled reservations. These policies determine when and how a guest can cancel their reservation and any financial implications. You can modify or delete these cancellation policies at any time. When you delete a cancellation policy, the system removes it from all rates where it is applied. Once you delete it, you cannot restore it.

 

Note: Modifying a cancellation policy does not affect existing reservations.

How to modify a cancellation policy 

  1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu  > Settings > Policies.
  2. In the Cancellation tab, click the policy you want to edit. 
  3. In the side-window, click .
  4. Modify your cancellation policy details.
  5. Click Save.

This modifies your cancellation policy details.  

 

How to delete a cancellation policy 

  1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu  > Settings > Policies.
  2. In the Cancellation tab, find the policy you want to delete. 
  3. Click , then click Delete
  4. Click Delete again to confirm.
