How to modify or delete a payment policy in Mews Operations

Payment policies determine how the system handles payments for reservations. These policies determine when and how a guest pays for their reservation. You can modify or delete a payment policy at any time. When you delete a payment policy, the system removes it from all rates where it is applied. Once you delete it, you cannot restore it. How to modify a payment policy 

1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu  > Settings > Policies.
2. In the Payment tab, find the payment policy you want to edit. 
3. Click More , then click Edit. 
4. Modify your payment policy details. 
5. Click Save.  

Note: Modifying a payment policy does not affect existing reservations. 

This modifies the payment policy in Mews Operations.  

 

How to delete a payment policy 

1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu  > Settings > Policies.
2. In the Payment tab, find the payment policy you want to edit. 
3. Click More , then click Delete. 
4. Click Delete again to confirm.  

This deletes the payment policy in Mews Operations and removes it from all applied rates.
