Payment policies determine how the system handles payments for reservations. These policies determine when and how a guest pays for their reservation. You can modify or delete a payment policy at any time. When you delete a payment policy, the system removes it from all rates where it is applied. Once you delete it, you cannot restore it.

How to modify a payment policy
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Settings > Policies.
- In the Payment tab, find the policy you want to edit.
- Click
, then click Edit.
- Modify your payment policy details.
- Click Save.
Note: Modifying a payment policy does not affect existing reservations.
This modifies the payment policy.
How to delete a payment policy
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Settings > Policies.
- In the Payment tab, find the policy you want to edit.
- Click
, then click Delete.
- Click Delete again to confirm.
This deletes the cancellation policy.
