Option one - Via relative rate adjustment
- Create a new rate dependent on your base rate.
- Change the relative adjustment in the rate settings: discount it by either 33% for a 3x2 deal, 25% for 4x3, 50% for 2x1, etc.
- Restrict the rate for minimum and maximum 3,4,2 nights depending on the deal. You can find more information on how to restrict rates here.
Option two - Via relative product and product rule
- Create a new rate.
- Set a restriction on the rate. For example, for the 3x2 promotion, minimum length should be three nights, and maximum length, three nights.
- Create a new stay product with the following settings:
- Accounting category: the same as the rate/space category.
- Product options: Bill as a package. Offer to employee.
- Price: relative.
- Amount: set negative percentage based on gross product night. For example, for the 3x2 promotion, the negative percentage should be 33.33%
- Charging: nightly.
- Consumed at: before midnight.
- Tax rate: the same as the night rate.
- Create a new product rule: if the rate equals [name of the new rate] add [new stay product]
