The Reservations dashboard in Mews Business Intelligence provides visibility into current and recent booking activity.
You can use this dashboard to understand booking flows, manage guest expectations, and align operations with reservation patterns. It’s useful for front office managers, reservations agents, or operations leads to optimize operations.

 

This dashboard features:

  • Reservation counts: Total reservations and room nights, compared with last year.
  • Guest volume: Number of guests linked to reservations.
  • Status overview: Active, started, and cancelled bookings.
  • Segment distribution: Breakdown of reservations by customer segment.
  • Detailed reservation list: Table view of reservation details, including arrival/departure, nationality, space category, rate, and company.
 
 

Note

  • Data updates every two hours. Check the “last updated” timestamp at the top of the dashboard.
  • If you manage multiple properties, the Reservations dashboard in Mews Business Intelligence shows data across all your properties. The Reservation Report in Mews Operations is limited to a single property at a time.

Key metrics include:

  • Reservations: Total number of bookings created.
  • Room Nights: Number of nights sold.
  • Guests: Total number of guests across reservations.
  • Reservation Status: Count of reservations by status, for example, Started, Cancelled, Confirmed.
  • Segment Distribution: Reservations by customer segment, for example, OTA, Direct, Corporate, or Group.
  • Detailed Reservation Data: Arrival/departure dates, nationality, space category, rate, and company details.

 

To access the Reservations dashboard:

  1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu main menu  > Business Intelligence > Overview.
  2. Locate and click on the Reservations dashboard.

Using the Reservations dashboard

The Reservations dashboard in Mews BI is designed for front office, operations, and revenue teams to track reservation activity and guest volumes.

 

It helps you:

  • Monitor reservation volumes: Track the number of reservations and room nights booked.
  • Track reservation status: See confirmed, started, and cancelled bookings.
  • Analyze guest volume: Monitor the number of guests associated with reservations.
  • Identify booking patterns: Filter and view reservation data by, for example, source, nationality, space type, and rate plan.
  • Support operations: Use reservation data to manage arrivals, departures, and cancellations.
  • Multi-property view: Data across all your properties in one dashboard.

Data filters

You can refine reservation analysis using filters:

  • Select date ranges, for example, creation date, arrival date, departure date.
  • Filter by segments, for example, OTA, Corporate, Direct.
