Mews Business Intelligence, or Mews BI, helps you track and analyze key performance metrics for your property or portfolio. Mews Business Intelligence is the built-in analytics workspace in Mews that shows your property performance across key metrics such as revenue, occupancy, and bookings. You access Mews Business Intelligence from Mews Operations or Mews Multi-Property to access up-to-date data on revenue, occupancy, bookings, and other operational indicators so you can make informed decisions and improve performance.
Hotel managers, revenue teams, finance teams, and operations staff use Mews Business Intelligence to monitor results, compare performance over time, and identify trends that support pricing, staffing, and distribution decisions. Data updates every two hours, which supports both daily operational checks and long-term performance analysis.
You work in Mews Business Intelligence by reviewing dashboards, applying filters such as date, property, and segment, and drilling into charts and tables for deeper insights. If you use Business Intelligence Pro, you can also build and customize dashboards to match your business needs.

To access Mews Business Intelligence:

In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Business Intelligence > Overview.
Once you open Mews Business Intelligence Overview, you can access an AI Executive Summary that provides a quick overview of your data combined, and all curated and custom dashboards. The curated dashboards give you insights into various aspects of your hotel’s performance. Note: Customization capabilities and the AI Executive Summary are included for Mews Business Intelligence Pro customers only. Upgrade or purchase Pro as an add-on in the Mews Marketplace to gain access.
Click any dashboard to open it and start reviewing your data.

Using Curated dashboards
Mews Business Intelligence includes several pre-built Curated dashboards that you can use to track and analyze key performance metrics. These dashboards present data in charts, graphs, and tables. You can explore these dashboards to monitor hotel performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Popular curated dashboards include:
- Daily summary: Overview of daily metrics such as check-ins, check-outs, pickup, revenue, occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.
- Pickup: See how bookings are pacing compared to previous periods.
- Occupancy: Track occupancy rates to spot trends and forecast demand.
- Revenue: Review revenue performance by date and booking source.
- ADR: Analyze average daily rate trends to understand pricing performance across time periods, segments, and space types.
- RevPAR: Measure revenue per available room to evaluate how effectively rooms generate revenue, combining rate and occupancy performance.

How to apply filters
Mews Business Intelligence contains a range of customizable filter options. Filters allow you to customize the data on the dashboard according to your specific needs, and vary per dashboard. Filtering helps you focus on the most relevant data, making it easier to analyze specific trends and patterns.
For example, you can filter data by:
- Date range: Filter data by today, this week, last month, or custom dates.
- Property groups: For multi-property accounts, filter by specific property groups.
- Room categories: Focus on specific room types, for example, suites, standard rooms.
- Booking sources: Filter data by the source of bookings, such as direct bookings or online travel agents, and more.

How to share, export, and schedule reports

You can export your data in different levels of detail:

Dashboard: Export the full dashboard.
- Export to pdf
- Export as xlsx file.
- Insight: Export the data from an individual widget or insight.
- Export as formatted .xlsx file
- Export as formatted .csv, or as raw .csv file.

- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu

- Navigate to the dashboard you want to export.
- Click
More actions > Export in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
- Choose the format, for example, PDF, Excel, or CSV.
- Click Export.
- This exports the dashboard report to your device.
How to schedule reports via email:
Automated email reports ensure that your team receives up-to-date data without manually exporting or logging in to Mews Business Intelligence.
To schedule report exports via email:

In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Business Intelligence > Overview.

Navigate to the dashboard you want to export.

Click
More actions > Schedule export in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
- Click Create new.

Type to enter or select from the following details:
- Starts on: Choose the start date.
- Repeats: Click the dropdown to choose the frequency, for example, daily, weekly.
- Destination: Click the dropdown to select the destination.
- Recipients: Type to enter recipients.
- Subject: Type to enter a subject.
- Message: Type to enter any additional message.
- Attachments: Check the box to add attachments.
- Check the box to use the same attachments for all recipients.
- Click Create to activate the scheduled report.
This schedules the reports you select.
