In this article you can learn about the following operations that you can do with the Amadeus iHotelier (formerly TravelClick) integration:

• Synchronize reservations
• Check reservation processing status and details 
• Bulk update

 

Synchronize reservations

If you have a two-way advanced connection with Amadeus iHotelier, you can synchronize your reservations. If you want to add this feature, you need to sign up for it before you connect Amadeus iHotelier to Mews. You can contact Amadeus iHotelier for more information. 

Note: Amadeus iHotelier cannot guarantee correct availability if you don't enable Synchronize reservations. 

Synchronization basics:

• You have different rates for direct bookings, i.e. Mews Operations/ Mews Booking Engine, and completely different rates for channel bookings.
• You need to synchronize reservations of all origins to Amadeus iHotelier.
• You should map and unsynchronize the rates that you don't want to sell via channels. 

 

Check reservation processing status and details

1. Search for the channel manager reservation, and copy the Amadeus iHotelier reservation ID.
2. Go to the main menu  > Queues > Channel manager.
3. Under Find, paste the Amadeus iHotelier reservation ID.
4. Under Start select the reservation creation date and time and in End enter today's date and time to get a complete overview. 
5. Click OK.
6. You can see the channel manager queue item. Then under the Type column, click Reservation processing. to search for anything you want in the XML:

• If you use Windows:
  • Click ctrl + F
• If you use Mac OS:
  • Click Command + F 

 

Bulk update​​​​

Amadeus iHotelier’s "Bulk update” feature allows you to open your calendar and upload the inventory from Mews into the Amadeus iHotelier extranet.

• You can do bulk update at the time of your Amadeus iHotelier onboarding.
• You can bulk update the inventory for the time interval of up to 10 years.

Note: When the end of the 10-year interval approaches, make sure to bulk update the inventory again via Amadeus iHotelier. Amadeus iHotelier won't send you any reminders about this date.

As you need to take this action only once in 10 years, Mews recommends you create your own calendar reminder or make a note of this date for your staff and yourself.
