Automate reports for the Instituto Canario de Estadística or ISTAC for Gran Canaria

For properties in Gran Canaria that need to send a monthly report to ISTAC, i.e., Instituto Canario de Estadística, this integration automatically generates an XML file that includes all of the necessary information. You can then upload the file to the ISTAC website. To generate the report:

1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu  > Marketplace.
2. In the Legal environment section, under the ISTAC occupancy export integration. click Explore. 
3. Click Connect integration. 
4. Complete the following fields:

• Name: Enter a title for the export.
• Tax identifier: Enter your CIF, i.e., Certificado de Identificación Fiscal. This is your property's tax ID, which consists of a letter followed by eight digits.
• Enterprise category: Select your enterprise category that ISTAC assigned to you. 
• Registration number: Enter your property's unique ISTAC registration number.

5. Click Create.
6. Click OK.

The integration generated the report once per month, and you can upload it to the ISTAC website.

Note: 

• ISTAC requires all customers from or residing in Spain to have a complete Address in their customer profile, including the Province field.
• The export file contains only completed customer profiles. It lists incomplete profiles in an enclosed .txt file.
• You need to manually add the missing information to customer profiles when you receive the export.
