Connecting and disconnecting a Mews Marketplace integration

Mews Marketplace offers integrations and services between Mews and other software or service providers. These connections help improve your property’s efficiency, organization, and overall guest experience. They cover various areas, including payment processors, channel managers, revenue management, guest services, and more. If you have Admin permissions, you can connect and disconnect integrations anytime.

Mews Marketplace includes two different types of integrations:

  • Standard: Connecting to a standard integration is free through Mews, however, Mews handles any potential subscription fees through the provider. Note: Standard integrations or services count towards your connection limit if you are on the Starter or Pro subscription tier.
  • Add-onIntegration with a subscription fee, which Mews automatically adds to your monthly invoice. Note: Add-ons do not count towards your subscription tier connection limit.

Note: You can also connect to premium support services using the following guidelines.

How to connect an integration

You need Admin permissions to connect to and create an integration in the Mews Marketplace.

To connect an integration:

  1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu Screenshot 2024-01-15 at 12.16.40.png  > Marketplace.
  2. In the search bar on the left, enter the name of the integration you want to connect with, and click Explore. Note: You can also search by category in the left-hand menu.
  3. Click Connect integration to the right of the integration's name.

The following steps depend on the type of integration you are connecting, if it is a:

  • Partner integration: Mews sends them a request, and they take over the setup process. Some partner integrations require additional configuration. In this case, you need to wait for further instructions from the integration.
  • Mews integration: Complete the setup by following the instructions for that specific integration in the Mews help center.

How to disconnect an integration

Disconnecting an integration removes the integration from your subscriptions and deletes your configuration permanently. You need to have Admin permissions to disconnect an integration.

To disconnect an integration:

  1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu Screenshot 2024-01-15 at 12.16.40.png > Marketplace.
  2. Click My subscriptions.
  3. Click on Edit next to the integration you want to disconnect.
  4. Click the  Delete icon.
  5. Confirm by clicking Delete

How to disable an integration

You can also temporarily disable an integration without deleting it. Mews no longer transfers any data for a disabled integration. This is useful if you want to pause the integration for a short time only. You need to have Admin permissions to disable an integration.

To disable an integration:

  1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu Screenshot 2024-01-15 at 12.16.40.png > Marketplace.
  2. Click My subscriptions.
  3. Click on Edit next to the integration you want to disable.
  4. Uncheck the ‘Enabled’ box.
  5. Click Save.

Note: Mews also includes the disabled integrations in your subscription tier connection limit.
