This article explains how to connect, configure, and enable the Reservit channel manager integration in Mews Operations.
The Reservit channel manager integration provides global distribution of your property's availability and rates, directly from Mews Operations. The integration uses a two-way connection. Mews Operations manages availability, rates, and restrictions. Reservit sends reservations into Mews Operations.
Property administrators complete this setup when activating the Reservit channel manager for the first time. Mews does not send reservations to Reservit.
Note
- You connect to integrations through the Mews Marketplace self-service. Mews does not set up the channel manager on your behalf. If there are any issues when fixing mapping errors within Mews, contact the Mews Support Team for help troubleshooting.
- The Reservit onboarding team handles all mapping on installation day.
- Sign a contract with Reservit before you connect the integration.
- Add the Reservit Payments integration along with the channel manager integration.
- Contact [email protected] for global support. Contact [email protected] if your property is in Canada.
- When you first connect the integration, Mews sends all availability, rates, and restrictions to Reservit for the next 700 days. This happens automatically on connection day.

Step 2: Configure the Reservit integration and mapping
Note
Where do I get the documentation for mapping?
Reservit pulls mapping data directly from Mews after you send the Channel manager code.
What should I map?
Map all the following in Mews:
- Space categories: space category codes must contain only numeric values.
- Rates: use only the following values: public_rate and CHM_rate.
- Products: the city tax code must be cityTax (upper case T).
Which options should I select in the Reservit Mews Marketplace integration?
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu > Marketplace > My subscriptions.
- Click Edit on the Reservit integration.
- Under Enabled operations, check:
- Upload availability
- Upload rates
- Upload restrictions
- Download reservations
- Push occupancy-based prices
- Do not check Change password unless Reservit instructs you to.
- Under Options, check the Create company and travel agency profiles check box.
- Click Save.
Common setup mistakes
You must follow specific naming conventions in Mews to ensure smooth syncing with Reservit. For example:
- Create a city tax product named cityTax.
- Use the term dîner étape for predefined packages if your contract requires it.
Reservit strongly recommends that you use the same space category codes, rate codes, and product codes in both Mews and Reservit.
If you do not set up these terms correctly, the integration may fail to apply tax or product mappings.
Send mapping information to Reservit
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu > Marketplace > My subscriptions.
- Locate the Reservit integration and click Edit.
- Copy the Channel manager code.
- Send it to [email protected] or [email protected] if your property is in Canada.
- Reservit pulls the mapping information and instructs you how to complete mapping.
