Mews Analytics is a Microsoft Power BI, I.e., Business Intelligence, tool embedded into the Mews Property Management System and located in Mews Operations. It consists of a series of dashboards that consolidate data from your properties for a chain-level overview. You can refine your results to get insights on a specific property within your chain. You can learn more about Mews Analytics and its capabilities here.

Mews uses Power BI to build and display the dashboards but manages and stores your data within the Mews platform. It is not a third-party solution. You can learn more about Power BI here. 

 

To access Mews Analytics, you need: 

• an Enterprise subscription to Mews, OR  
• to purchase Mews Analytics as an add-on, AND 
• to be either an Admin in your Mews account or have the Access sensitive reports permission. 

Note:  

• For Enterprise clients, you need to enable the integration in each property in your chain before use.  
• When purchasing Mews Analytics, you gain access to the whole suite. It is not possible to purchase an individual dashboard.

Connect to Mews Analytics as an add-on

You can access Mews Analytics in Marketplace. To do so: 

1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu > Marketplace. 
2. Type in the search bar to find Mews Analytics. 
3. Click Explore. 
4. Click Start free trial now. 
5. Accept the terms and conditions and click Purchase.

 

 

You can now access your Mews Analytics dashboards, under the main menu  > Analytics.  

 

Note:  

• For Enterprise clients, you need to enable the integration in each property in your chain before use.  
• It can take up to 8 hours for your data to appear. 

 

Cancel Mews Analytics

If you choose to cancel Mews Analytics, it is immediately removed from your property. Your next invoice contains only charges for when Analytics is enabled in your property(s). 

Note: You need to follow these steps if you want to cancel Mews Analytics; if you choose to Disable it, you are still charged until you cancel it. 

 

1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menu  > Marketplace.  
2. Type in the search bar to find Mews Analytics or click My subscriptions. 
3. On your Mews Analytics subscription, click Edit.  
4. Click the Delete icon. 
5. Click Delete to confirm you want to delete the subscription.
