Create, modify, or delete a department


You create departments in Mews to set up your organizational structure and group employees with similar responsibilities together.

You can use departments to determine who is responsible for particular tasks or orders. Once you create a department in Mews, you can assign an employee to that department when you create or modify their profile.

Create a department

To create a department:

  1. Go to the main menu Screenshot_2.png > Settings > Property > Users.
  2. Click on the drop-down menu and then click Departments.
  3. Click the + button.
  4. Enter the name of the department.
  5. Click Create.
 

Modify a department 

To modify a department:

  1. Go to the main menu Screenshot_2.png > Settings > Property > Users.
  2. Click on the drop-down menu and then click Departments.
  3. Click on the department you want to modify.
  4. Update the name of the department.
  5. Click Save.
 

Delete a department 

To delete a department:

  1. Go to the main menu Screenshot_2.png > Settings > Property > Users.
  2. Click on the drop-down menu and then click Departments.
  3. Click on the department you want to delete.
  4. Click the image.pngicon.
  5. Confirm by clicking Delete.
