Mews allows you to create as many as 100 space features for Enterprise subscriptions. Employees need to have the "Create and manage services" permission to create, modify and delete space features. You can learn more about updating employee profiles here.
Note: You can access the "Space feature" section of your bookable service directly from the Mews search bar.
In this article you can learn about how to:
Create a space feature
- Go to the main menu
> Settings > Services.
- Click on your bookable service.
- On the left, in the list of Settings, click Space features.
- Click the
+button. - Enter the space feature details. You can refer to the detailed explanation of fields below.
- If you have already created spaces,
- You can connect a space feature to a space on this screen, or
- You can connect a space feature when you create or modify a space.
- Click Create.
Explanation of fields:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Enter the name of the feature, for example, Sea view. |
| Short name | Enter a short name for places in Mews where space is limited. |
| Description | Enter a description of feature for internal use. |
| Ordering | Choose the order you want your space features to be listed in. |
| Classification | Select the feature. |
| Spaces | Select the spaces that have this feature. |
You can view spaces with specific space features in the Timeline with the Space feature filter. You can learn more about this here.
Modify a space feature
To modify a space feature:
- Go to the main menu
> Settings > Services.
- Click on your bookable service.
- On the left, in the list of Settings, click Space features.
- Click on the space feature you want to modify.
- Update the space feature details.
- Click Save.
Delete a space feature
You cannot delete space features. If you need to disconnect a space feature from a space, you can do so when you modify the space or the space feature.
