The Customer profiles report lists all of your customer profiles and information from them. Mews recommends you check the Customer profiles report regularly, especially before a guest's arrival, to look for "profile merge" suggestions. This helps you recognize returning guests, so you can give them a warmer welcome making their experience even more remarkable.
You can use the Customer profiles report to:
- see an overview of your customer profiles.
- check that your customer profiles are 100% complete. The completion % is calculated differently depending on the information that's legally required in your country. Note: If you have report exports set up, it's important that your Customer profiles report is 100% complete or the export could fail. You can learn more about how to automatically export reports for your local authorities here.
- generate a Birthday report by selecting Birthday in house under the Mode filter.
- merge customer profiles from merge suggestions in the report to maintain a clean database, communicate with the guest about loyalty programs and other offers in the future.
To view the Customer profiles report:
- on your Mews Dashboard, in the Customers section, click
or
- go to the main menu

Setting the filters in the report
Choose which Service to use for the report. Then, use filters to refine the report according to your needs.
- Mode:
- Arrival: To include customers who arrived during the selected time period.
- Birthday in house: To view customers with birthdays during the selected time period.
- Created: To view customer profiles created during the selected time period.
- In house: To include customers arriving and staying for at least one night within the selected interval.
- Overlapping: To include customers that "overlap" with the selected time period.
- When exporting the Customer profiles report, it is extremely important that you use all customer profile report integrations with the correct mode to ensure the consistency of exported data. For example, if you create a report that requires Overlapping mode with Arrival mode instead, this causes all departures and stay-overs to be missing.
- If you don't use the correct mode, the export fails with an error message. You can create automatic reports such as the police report export, with the correct mode by default.
- Status: Select the following to include customers with the corresponding reservations status:
- Checked in
- Checked out
- Confirmed
- Optional
- Start and End: Select a start and end date to restrict results to a specific time period.
