All dashboards in Mews Analytics allow you to save your current filter selection as default to the specific type or tab of Analytics you are working on, for example, Financial analytics, or Aging balance > Aging report. Use this setting to save time re-selecting filters if you frequently view the same statistics in one property in Mews Analytics.
Default filters help you:
- Access search results after closing Analytics: Save default filters to return to your same search.
- Manage filters on multiple properties: Mews Analytics shows data from across all your properties. If you have access to multiple, set default filters to see only data for the property account you access it from.

To access Mews Analytics, you need:
- an Enterprise subscription to Mews OR
- to purchase Mews Analytics as an add-on, AND
- to be either an Admin in your Mews account or have the Access sensitive reports permission.
Note:

In this article you can learn about the following:
Set filters as default
To do so:
- Click
Set filters as default in the top right corner of the screen to save your current selection.
- Click
Clear default filters to remove them. Default filters remain unchanged until you remove them.
Note: The system saves the default filters setting per user. For example, filters you set as default do not appear as default for another user in your property.
Default filter exceptions
Your default filters are saved to the browser that you access, per hotel, per user profile.
You cannot see your saved default filters when you, for example:
- Open the page on a different computer
- Use a different browser
- Switch log in to a different hotel
- Log in as a different user
- Set the default filters for Manager analytics then open Financial analytics.
