How to temporarily hide your products in Mews POS

Snoozing a product in Mews POS lets your property temporarily hide unavailable items in the digital ordering menu. This ensures guests see only what they can order. When stock runs low or items become unavailable, you activate the snooze feature from the product menu to manage stock and avoid customer confusion. You can set specific periods to control when products reappear, simplifying operations without disrupting face-to-face sales or saved orders. Temporarily hiding products keeps the digital menu accurate and creates a smooth customer experience.

 

To temporarily hide your products in Mews POS, from the Mews POS web dashboard:

  1. Click Products.
  2. Check the product box to select it.
  3. Click . The Snooze product screen appears.

  1. Complete the following:
    • Click an option from the list to enable it, or
    • Click Choose date and time to select a specific date and time, then:
      1. Click . A calendar appears.
      2. Click a date to select it. A time selector appears.
      3. Enter a time.
      4. Click CLOSE to complete your selection.
  2. Click SAVE.

This temporarily hides the product in Mews POS.

 

Note:

  • To see the changes in the Mews POS Android app, swipe down and release on the product list. This refreshes the list.
  • Snoozing a product does not affect active sales or saved orders.
