Why is the Mews Kiosk not working?

There could be two reasons why your Mews Kiosk is not working:

 

The Kiosk is missing an important update

 

The update can be performed by resetting the device:

 

  1. Press and hold on the device power button and restart the device.
  2. Upon restart, the device should start to download the latest version of the Kiosk app.
  3. In case the error persists, reach out to Mews Support.

 

The Kiosk lost connection

 

It's possible that the Wi-Fi connection between your router and your tablet gets disconnected. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot your network connection:

 

  1. Press on Troubleshoot button.
  2. Input your Mews Kiosk Pin, you can find the pin by following the steps in the following guide.
  3. Once you have exited the Mews Kiosk app, you can go to your settings and reconnect your device or switch to another Wi-Fi network.
