Can I change the e-mail address on my Mews user account?

It is not possible to change the email address of an existing Mews user. In the event of an email address change, a new user account must be created.

 

The process for migrating to a new user account differs depending on the user's privilege level, and whether they are a more senior employee with regard to other employees:

 

If you need to change the email address of an employee

 

  1. Create the new user account using the correct/new e-mail address. Only managers and admins have the privilege to perform this step.
  2. Delete the old user account.

 

If you need to change the email address of a more senior employee to other employees:

 

  1. Create the new user account using the correct/new e-mail address. Only managers and admins have the privilege to perform this step.
  2. Make the new user account the manager of the old user account.

  3. Move all less senior employees from the old account to the new user. 

  4. Delete the old user account with the incorrect email.
