Why can't I add a product when creating a reservation?

If you cannot add a product to a reservation when creating it, because it doesn't show up in the selection of products, there can be two reasons:

 

  • The product is created as an Additional service instead of part of the Stay service. Understanding services.
  • The option Offer to employee is not enabled in the product.

 

To fix it, follow the instructions below:

 

  1. Go to main menu > Settings > Services.
  2. Check the list of additional products.
  3. If the product appears in the additional services list, create the product as new within the bookable service
  4. If the product does not appear as an additional service:
    1. Go to the bookable service you are using, for example, Stay.
    2. Go to Products.
    3. Find the product you want to add to the reservation.
    4. Scroll down to Product options and enable the Offer to employee option.
