Bookable services are services at your property, such as your Stay service that,
- can be reserved,
- show up on the timeline, and
- don't depend on any other reservation or service before they can be booked.
You can also set up hourly as well as long-stay services in Mews, which do not restrict you to offering accommodation services only. With new space types in Mews, the system also supports services like hourly or monthly parking, co-working memberships, or meeting rooms bookable by the hour. You can promote your other bookable services along with your stay service. You can learn more about this here.

Why create more bookable services?
If your property has different types of accommodation, for example, a combination hotel and hostel, you can have a unique bookable service for each. This allows you to customize the booking engine for each bookable service, the emails that you send to guests, and much more. You can see separate reports for each bookable service and Mews clearly delineates them on the timeline.
If your property offers any overnight services, like renting out extra beds, you can create relevant bookable services, and then manage them in Mews.
What are bookable periods?
When you create a new bookable service, you need to select a bookable period for the service, such as "Night", "Day", "Month" or “Hour”.
- Day use bookable services are bookable services that allow guests to reserve and use spaces at your property for a limited time period every single day. You can learn more about day uses here,
- Hourly bookable services allow guests to reserve and use spaces per hour, multiple times a day, at different times. You can learn more about hourly services here.
- Monthly bookable services allow guests to use spaces for long stays of up to five years. You can learn more about long-stay services here.
Note: You can only set the bookable period of a service once, i.e., when you create it the first time. You cannot change it later.
