It is possible that you may want to delete a bookable service. For example:
- when your property no longer provides it,
- when it's no longer profitable, or
- if you created the bookable service by mistake.
Only employees with the Create and manage services permission can delete a bookable service. To learn more about employee permissions click here.
You can delete a bookable service only if all of the following are true:

- The service has no active and future reservations. Note: You can still view the reservations attached to the deleted service from the customer's profile.
- There are no report exports scheduled for that service.
- The service is not promoted with your stay/ accommodation service. You can learn more about promoting a bookable service here.
- There are no integrations connected to the service. You can learn more about how to connect and disconnect integrations here.
You can still view the deleted service in the Manager report marked with the Deleted label and also access the past reservations from a customer's profile.

How to delete a bookable service
To delete a bookable service:
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Settings > Services and then click on the bookable service you wish to delete.
- Click
to delete the service. A pop-up window opens, asking for confirmation of delete action.

If the service fulfills the delete criteria mentioned earlier, then the delete action is successful.

If a service does not fulfill the delete criteria, then the delete action is unsuccessful and you see the following screen.
