How to allow guests to add and pay for in-room extras during Mews Kiosk check out

Guests add minibar items to their bill when checking out through Mews Kiosk, making it possible to complete their stay without staff assistance. You enable this feature in Mews Operations, in the Services section of the main menu, by adjusting product settings. This helps reduce manual check outs and improves operational efficiency by allowing guests to self-report minibar consumption before their departure. Use this process when you want to offer a complete and autonomous check out experience for guests using the kiosk.

 

To allow guests to add and pay for minibar or other in-room extras during Mews Kiosk check out:

  1. In Mews Operations, go to the main menuMenu arrow right  > Settings > Services.
  2. Click Bookable services, then click Products.
  3. Click the product you want to make available during kiosk check out.
  4. Under Promotions, select During check-out. Note: If you do not select this option, the product does not appear during Mews Kiosk check out.
  5. Click Save.

This offers products for payment during check-out in Mews Kiosk.
