You configure Autopilot when you want Mews RMS to automatically accept price recommendations. As a revenue manager or property team member, you use Autopilot to reduce manual work and keep pricing updated based on demand. You typically configure Autopilot during setup or when adjusting your pricing strategy. You manage Autopilot in Mews Operations, from the Pricing screen under Revenue. This lets pricing stay optimized around the clock, even when you are not actively monitoring recommendations. Note that Autopilot does not apply to stay dates that have a fixed price override.
In this article, you can learn about:
- How to turn Autopilot on or off for a stay date
- How to schedule Autopilot
- How to check Autopilot status
How to turn Autopilot on or off for a stay date
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Revenue > Pricing.
- Click a stay date to open the pricing panel. Or, click
and select Manage Autopilot.
- Click
in the top right of the pricing panel.
- Under Enable Autopilot, toggle on
to enable automatic price acceptance for all upcoming stay dates.
- Click Save.
Autopilot now accepts price recommendations automatically for all optimized stay dates.
- When Autopilot is active, you do not need to accept price recommendations manually for all upcoming stay dates.
How to schedule Autopilot
You use Schedule Autopilot to set specific dates when Autopilot turns off automatically, for example, to manage pricing manually during peak periods.
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Revenue > Pricing.
- Click a stay date to open the pricing panel. Or, click
and select Manage Autopilot.
- Click
in the top right of the pricing panel.
- Under Schedule, select how you want to turn Autopilot off:
- Near-arrival: Disable Autopilot on a recurring basis for near-arrival stay dates. Define how many days in advance of the arrival date Autopilot turns off.
- Exceptions: Temporarily disable Autopilot for a specific date or date range.
- Click Save.
Autopilot now turns off on the scheduled dates.
How to check Autopilot status
You can check the Autopilot status for a stay date from the Pricing screen.
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Revenue > Pricing.
- Click a stay date in the calendar, or switch to list view and click a date. In the Daily view, the pricing card shows an Autopilot badge under the price.
The badge shows whether Autopilot is enabled or disabled for that stay date.
- If Autopilot is enabled but scheduled to turn off on specific dates, a
appears on those dates in the Calendar and list views.
With Autopilot configured, Mews RMS keeps your pricing current without requiring daily manual review.
