The Card payments dashboard in Mews Business Intelligence gives you a complete overview of credit card activity and its associated costs. As a payment operations or finance team member, you use this dashboard to monitor transactions, analyze processing fees, review card mix, and manage settlement performance.
Use this dashboard for:
- Transaction tracking: monitor authorizations, charges, and settlements across selected periods.
- Fee analysis: review adjusted fee gross, adjusted fee net, and settled amounts to understand cost impact.
- Card mix insights: analyze debit versus credit, physical versus virtual cards, and card brands such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
- Settlement monitoring: check settlement status and identify outstanding or incomplete transactions.
- Card validity checks: review card state and expiry information to reduce failed or disputed payments.

Using the Card payments dashboard
The Card payments dashboard supports payment operations and financial reconciliation. It helps you:
- Monitor transaction volumes: Track authorizations, charges, and settlements over time.
- Control payment costs: Analyze processing fees and understand their impact on revenue margins.
- Optimize payment mix: Identify high-cost card brands or virtual cards and adjust gateway or distribution strategies.
- Reduce payment failures: Detect expired cards or incomplete settlements before they affect cash flow.
- Support reconciliation: Compare settled amounts with accounting data for accurate financial reporting.
For example, if you notice a high share of virtual credit cards with higher adjusted fees, you can review agreements or booking channels to manage costs.

Data filters
You can refine Card payments data using dashboard filters:
- Select a date to analyze transactions within a specific period.
- Filter by property if you manage multiple locations.
- Apply relevant payment-related attributes if available in your configuration.
To filter the full dashboard:

In the dashboard view, locate the filters in the top bar.
- Select the filter field, for example, Type, Date.
- Choose your criteria.
- Click Apply.
