Using the text message queue in Mews Operations

The Text message queue in Mews Operations shows the status of all text messages sent via Mews. Only users with admin rights or the View and manage mail queue items employee permission have access to them. To access the text messaging queue, you need to subscribe to the Text Messaging Package. Mews only sends text messages to guests if they have an email address in their Customer profile. Guests cannot access the guest portal without an email address. Since Mews sends the online check-in reminder SMS messages at approximately 9:30am local time every morning, Mews does not send these SMS if your property’s check in is before 9:30am local time.

To view the queue, in Mews Operations, go to the main menu Menu arrow right    > Queues > Text messages
