You can create segments at any time in Mews Operations to classify reservations by attributes relevant to your operations. For example, you can segment your reservations by traveler type, reservation purpose, or price classification to identify trends that can help you improve your business decisions. Once you create your business segments, you can allow employees to assign segments when they create reservations in Mews Operations.
To allow your employees to assign a segment from your bookable service settings:
- In Mews Operations, go to the main menu
> Settings > Services.
- Click on your bookable service.
- In the Options section, from the Options drop-down, select Has configurable business segment.
- Click Save.
Employees can now assign segments when creating reservations in Mews Operations.
