In Mews Operations, you can view an AI-generated summary of any guest’s preferences, past and upcoming stays and special requests directly in the Customer management screen or the Smart detail window. This allows you and your staff to find key information about a guest from multiple places in Mews. You can access this summary, also known as a Smart Tip, at any time. The system automatically updates the summary whenever you enter new notes.
This summary includes:
- Guest preferences: Preferences noted from past reservations, for example, room types, special requests or specific services.
- Past stays: Information about previous reservations, for example, their frequency of visits or preferred times of year for their stays.
- Upcoming reservations: Information about any upcoming or current reservations.
Note:
- Mews does not share the summary information externally or use guest data to train AI models.
- AI systems can sometimes generate inaccurate information, always check the information for accuracy.
- This feature is only available for properties with a Pro or Enterprise subscription.

- In Mews Operations, to access the Smart detail window you can,
- click
Timeline > click a reservation,
- click
Reservation overview > click Details on the reservation card, or
- enter the guest's name in the search bar > Click the Dashboard tab > Click Details on the reservation card.

- Click More info to view a detailed summary of the guest’s previous reservations.
How to find a summary of a guest’s reservations in the Customer management screen
- In Mews Operations, to access a customer's Customer management screen,
- click on any customer profile, or
- enter their name in the search bar.
- In the Customer management screen, click the Profile tab to view a detailed summary of the guest’s previous reservations.
This displays the summary of a guest’s previous reservations and their preferences.
